Privacy and dignity are something that we all take for granted. With people living longer and the numbers of people being admitted in to hospitals and care homes increasing year-on-year privacy and dignity is at an ever-increasing demand. When you are caring for someone it can be challenging to respect their privacy and dignity whilst supporting them with day to day activities.
In this course, we will look at the key principles and legislation to privacy and dignity. We will also cover the importance of confidentiality in health and social care. This course will also show you how to implement person-centred choices in how they live their life and in relation to consent and capacity to make the right choices for themselves.
